Meeting Minutes for June 28, 2011

Michael Doylen called the meeting to order at 1:07 p.m.
OLD BUSINESS
Michael wrote to Karen Weston on May 24, seeking clarification of the copyright status of Campus Cornerstones, but received no reply. Michael will ask Paul Beck, as the incoming chair, to follow-up.
Michael has contacted Axel Schmetzke at UW Stevens Point for more information about the proposal to digitize the 1976 National Symposium on the Assassination of President John F. Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
NEW BUSINESS
At the request of Vanaja Menon and Kathy Davis, the committee discussed the current CUWL committee structure, DICC’s purpose and activities, and related topics. Michael will summarize the discussion in a report for Kathy Davis which will inform discussion at the CUWL retreat on August 16 in Madison.
With no further business the meeting was adjourned at 1:28 p.m.
