Great Lakes Maritime History Project. Addition of 400 photographs and 600 pages of newsletters to the existing Great Lakes Maritime History Project.
UWSAC University Photograph Project. This project will result in a combined digital collection of photographs (prints, negatives, or slides) documenting the history of UW System campuses. Each campus is permitted to submit up to 1,000 images per annual production cycle.
Midwest Archives Conference Journal Project. This project calls for digitizing all back issues of the journal of the Midwest Archives Conference (MAC). The journal was published semiannually as the Midwestern Archivist from 1976 to 1991 (vols. 1-16) and as Archival Issues, beginning in 1992 (vols. 17-30). An estimated 4,500 numbered pages.
Resource Discovery
The committee has started to review the websites of various institutions—academic libraries, historical societies, museums--that have implemented discovery solutions across resources, including their OPAC, digital collections, and other materials. The group is in the process of developing questions for the RFI.
