--Mary updated us on some work that has been done to improve UB delivery slips – primarily the changes improve routing information. The new slips are being tested now. If all goes well, a recommendation will be made to CUWL to adopt these changes system-wide.
--We discussed the need to improve our methodologies for compiling and responding to information about vendor packages. Currently, we use email which makes tracking difficult. We agreed to explore use of the WIKI as a holder of our “canonical” files and to examine the tool’s potential for gathering input/comments.
--Emerald offer: we discussed the Emerald packages, and considered strategies for compiling and analyzing the data needed to support a joint a decision on whether or not to renew an Emerald package. John Jax and Richard Reeb volunteered to work with Lisa on exploring our options with the Emerald sales rep. Sharon Knight, CDC Chair, will also be invited to participate.
